Car Pawn Loans
Own a car and need cash? A pawn loan uses the vehicle as collateral, so the car's value is what backs the loan.
Call us with the year, make, model and mileage, and we'll tell you if it's something we can lend on and what paperwork to bring.

How a car pawn loan works
A pawn loan is secured by the item. The value of the car is what backs the loan, not your paycheck.
That's the main difference from a bank or credit card. It also means the loan amount depends mostly on what the vehicle is worth.
Three steps to start
- 01
Send us the details
Year, make, model, trim, mileage and a few photos. Call or bring the car in.
- 02
We evaluate it
We check the vehicle's condition, look over the title and paperwork, and compare it against what similar cars are worth in South Florida.
- 03
You get an offer and decide
We explain the loan amount and terms in plain words. You can say no, and you owe nothing for asking.
What we look at when we value a car
Value comes from a handful of facts. Knowing them ahead of time helps you get a straight answer faster.
Year, make, model and trim
A higher trim can be worth thousands more than the base model of the same car.
Mileage
Lower mileage for the year usually means a higher value.
Condition
Body damage, interior wear, tires and mechanical problems all move the number. Photos of every side help.
Title status
A clean title is the simplest. A salvage, rebuilt or branded title lowers the value and can limit what we're able to do.
Liens
If you still owe money on the car, the lender has a claim on it. That usually affects whether we can use it as collateral.
Market demand
Some vehicles hold value better in South Florida than others. Trucks, SUVs and well-kept luxury models tend to get more interest than older, high-mileage cars. That's a general pattern, not a promise for your car.
What to bring
- A valid government-issued photo ID
- Both sets of keys if you have them
Bring what you have and call first if you're missing something. We'll tell you what works.
Borrow or sell?
Some people want to keep the car and get through a short cash gap. Others are ready to let it go.
If you plan to repay and keep the car, a loan makes sense. If you would rather sell, ask about that too. We'll tell you which one looks better for your situation, even if the answer is neither.
Pawn loans have a repayment deadline. If a loan is not repaid on time, the pawn shop can keep the collateral. Only borrow what you're confident you can repay.
One place for everything you own
Balili's lends on more than cars. If a car alone doesn't cover what you need, bring in jewelry, a watch, gold, a guitar, or graded cards. We can look at everything together.
